Grand Rounds
Dermatology Grand Rounds are held 8 - 10 a.m. every Wednesday morning.
On the first, third, fourth and fifth Wednesday of the month, Grand Rounds are held at the Beckman Laser Institute (Bldg. 817, parking lot 84) on the UC Irvine campus.
On the second Wednesday of the month, Grand Rounds are held at the Long Beach VA Medical Center in Room H5.
Grand Rounds are preceded by examination of scheduled patients from the community. Grand Rounds are open to UC Irvine faculty, residents, medical students and community dermatologists. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
Resident Weekly Conference
Resident weekly conferences are held each Tuesday morning at VA Medical Center Long Beach. The conferences include resident presentations, faculty or outside speaker and/or journal clubs.

There are many dermatology professional organizations and associations which have meetings and conferences around the year, including the American Academy of Dermatology.
