University of California, Irvine, Department of Dermatology
UC Irvine Department of Dermatology is located in Irvine, California at the main campus . The department consists of ten faculty, seven of whom are full time, fifty volunteer clinical faculty, nine residents, one research fellow and ten administrative and technical support staff. Patients are seen in Orange at the UC Irvine Medical Center, The Chao Family Comprehensive Clinical and Research Cancer Center, and soon to be Plastics. On the main campus of UC Irvine, patients are seen at the UC Irvine Medical Plaza, as well as the Beckman Laser Surgery Center.
The department offers a dermatology residency program, clinical and basic research programs, and a dermatopathology laboratory. Medical, surgical and pediatric dermatology is offered in both Irvine and Orange. The Psoriasis Treatment and Research Center is located in Irvine.

Dermatopathology Laboratory
Under the direction of Senait Dyson M.D., this laboratory provides expertise in the pathology of the skin. The lab serves community physicians, the UC Irvine Medical Center, and supports departmental clinical and basic research protocols. The Dermatopathology Laboratory is located at the UC Irvine Medical Center, 101 The City Drive, Bldg. 52, Orange, CA 92868.
