Consultation Service
Our laboratory accepts tissue specimens and slide consultations, and we provide daily courier service within the Orange County area. Please call our office to request and arrange for a pick-up. If located outside of Orange County area, we provide alternative delivery services such as Fedex.
Routine reports are available within 24-48 hours from time of receipt. However, reports awaiting additional studies will require more time. Slide consultations are usually available within 24 hours from time of receipt.
We also offer IPWeblink; a website that allows referring physicians to view or download their patient’s dermpath reports.
We welcome you to call our office if you have any additional questions regarding setting up an account.
Submitting specimens/consultations
All specimens and consultations should be forwarded with a complete requisition form. Please specify who is to be billed. If the patient is to be billed directly, please include the patient’s complete demographics and identifying data. If the insurance company is to be billed, a photocopy of the insurance card with the submitting form is extremely helpful.
